Hi there! I am positive and carefree; confident, but not cocky. I am very enthusiastic about things in general! Worrying is not my style. Flirting with drunk men in bars isn't fulfilling for me, and I work in a field dominated by women. Not to mention I live in Hillcrest--the gay man's playground. Hence, I venture into the online world. I am originally from the Seattle area, and moved to California for the weather. After graduating from UC Berkeley in '06, I took a job as a zookeeper intern briefly in Texas, and then returned to Cali to accept a position as an animal Behavioral Counselor at a local animal shelter. My job provides me the excitement I require. I am always on my feet, whether it be walking a nicely behaved dog or attempting to calm an unruly pitbull. Surprisingly, I own no animals, but foster feisty young kittens every now and then. I enjoy living in Hillcrest, because I think it has a great deal of character. The people are forward-minded, outgoing, and unique, and the restaurants are pretty tasty. My favorite type of music to dance to is hip-hop, especially old-school. Groups I like: Pharcyde, Digable Planets, The Roots, KRS-One, Outkast. I also enjoy new-wave, electronic music, Sade, and would love to see Enya in concert someday. I appreciate men who are intelligent, humble, and who know what they want. Being funny is an awesome quality, but after having dated a comedian, I have found that sincerity is just as important. I want to find a man who is truly caring, and not caught up with all that So-Cal flashiness. It would be lovely if you're not allergic to animals. I appreciate open-mindedness, and tolerance of alternate opinions...someone who can agree to disagree, without being disagreeable.
